I have been in practice since 1991 and have obtained excellent results for hundreds of clients. As a Certified Criminal Specialist, I am dedicated to representing individuals accused of crimes, ranging from misdemeanors to the most serious felonies. I practice in both the State and Federal Courts. Because I personally handle each one of my cases, my clients directly benefit from my experience.

I am an active member of the National Association for Criminal Defense Lawyers, California Attorneys for Criminal Justice, California Public Defenders Association, San Diego Criminal Bar Association, the San Diego County Bar Association, and am the past co-chair of the Criminal Law section of the San Diego County Bar Association.

I am admitted to practice before all courts of the State of California, the United States Federal Court, Southern and Central Districts, and the United States Supreme Court.

Personal Information: I was born in 1963 and raised in San Diego. I married in 1985 and obtained my B.S. in Philosophy from San Diego State University in 1987. I earned my J.D. from Pepperdine University in 1991 and passed the bar that same year. My wife and I have one child. My family supports my work and understands my dedication to my clients.
